Dr. Safvi states, "At AVTIC, my goal is to address all of my patients' concerns before they leave their initial consultation." He is specially trained to perform non-invasive procedures and is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of added qualification in interventional radiology. Dr. Safvi is also a Board certified vascular specialist.

Dr. Safvi earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Medicine. He completed a radiology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. He also completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Safvi is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American College of Radiology.
